The tuition and fees for online undergraduates are:

• Tuition (pre credit): $390 for all courses

• Technology Services fee: $1,290

• Graduation Fee: $150

• Books and Materials (average per course): $100

The tuition and fees for online graduates are:

• Tuition (pre credit): $510 for Master of Arts in Education / Master of Arts of in Teaching and Learning with Technology and $568 for Master of Arts in Health Care Administration / Master of Arts in Organization Management / Master of Business Administration / Master of Public Administration.

• Technology Services fee: $1,290

• Books and materials (average pre course): $140

• Graduation fee: $150

Be noted that the technology service fee is a one-time fee, applied on the second week of enrollment. In addition to the above mentioned fees, other small fees may be charged to online students, like an official academic transcript fee of $10 or late payment fee of $30.

Cash Plan

Online students have the option to make their tuition and fees automatically charged to their credit card. Be noted that debit cards are not accepted. Automatic credit card payments are due on or before the first day of each course. Otherwise, you need to make the full payment on or before the first day of each course. If students choose this option to build credit, credit card information will be required. Additionally, there is documentation required for this plan:

– Student Financial Agreement Form

– Supplemental Student Authorization to Charge Form

Tuition Reimbursement Plan

Tuition Reimbursement may be available as a payment option if your employer reimburses a portion of your annual tuition. With this option, payment needs to be made within 90 days after each course start date. To be eligible for this plan, you need to submit a signed Tuition Reimbursement Certification and Authorization Form. A valid credit card number with authorization to charge the card is also required. In addition, you also need to prepare the following documentation:

– Student Financial Agreement Form

– Tuition Reimbursement Certification and Authorization Form

Direct Bill Plan (Third Party Billing)

If Ashford has pre-approved your employer or agency for direct billing, you may choose this plan to fund your program. Employers may establish a Direct Bill relationship with Ashford if they cover no less than $2,500 of your annual tuition and fees. For the amount not covered by the employer or agency, it is required to be paid before the first day of each course. Documentation needed for this plan, includes:

– Student Finance Agreement Form

– Company voucher approved by Ashford University, or other authorized agency tuition voucher

Military Benefits

As a top military-friendly university, Ashford offers an array of benefits and special tuition rates in two main forms:

Military Tuition Assistance (TA) – TA vouchers are due five days before the first day of each course. Payment can be received within the military cycle, but must be made within 90 days of the start of each course.

Military Veterans Benefits – With this option, tuition payment can be deferred for the first 60 days of your program. A valid credit card is needed for this option, but your credit card will only be charged when tuition payment has not been made according to the terms of your payment option.

Financial Aid

Ashford also offers financial aid including federal and state grants and loans. To determine your eligibility, you need to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. There is no charge and the Ashford’s school code is 001881. You will need this code to receive the information you submit. Usually, it will take up to 6 weeks to process your financial aid.
